1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Totem Climbing Gym application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App.

2. User-Generated Content

The App allows users to create and share content including but not limited to climbing routes, comments, feedback, and profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Totem a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the App.

3. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content

Totem has a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post, upload, or share any content that:

Is offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or harassing
Contains threats, bullying, or intimidation toward other users
Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate
Contains spam, malware, or misleading information
Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
Promotes violence, illegal activities, or self-harm
Is otherwise inappropriate for a community-focused climbing application

4. Content Moderation and Enforcement

Totem reserves the right to:

Review and remove any User Content that violates these terms
Suspend or permanently ban users who post objectionable content
Act on content reports within 24 hours of receiving them
Remove offending content and eject the user who provided it

5. Reporting and Blocking

Users can report objectionable content or abusive users through the in-app reporting feature. Users can also block other users to prevent seeing their content. Blocking a user automatically notifies the Totem team for review.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for all content you post through the App. You agree to:

Provide accurate information in your profile
Treat other users with respect
Use the App only for its intended purpose as a climbing gym companion tool
Not attempt to circumvent any content moderation measures

7. Account Termination

Totem may terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Use. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Totem does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, including route grades and difficulty ratings.

9. Limitation of Liability

Totem is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use of the App or reliance on information provided through the App, including climbing route information.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
